Coulby Newham Juniors FC have been awarded a grant from the Premier League, The FA and the Government's Football Foundation to install a new storage container at Nunthorpe and Marton Playing Fields.

The Football Foundation is the UK’s largest sports charity and exists to improve the experience of playing football for everyone, by championing fair access to quality facilities.

This grant will enable Coulby Newham Juniors, which plays in the Teesside Junior Football Alliance and gives 200 players the chance to play football each week, to improve their storage facilities

Players will be able to enjoy better quality and safer goals, as the storage facility will allow these to be secured when not in use and represents a significant improvement on the existing storage, which is too small for the number of goals

Coulby Newham Juniors worked with the Football Foundation and the County FA to secure a £1,794.00 grant towards the project.
