TJFA Under 18 Division 3 - Enforced Winter's Break is eventual downfall!!
Another season of what ifs for Coulby, as what started in fantastic fashion, ended without any silverware.
The best start for the team in all of the seasons saw them winning their first five league games of the season and heading the table going into November. However, the hard winter months took their toll, as between December and February they played only three games and their momentum was effected.
Defeat to Hardwick at home effectively ended the team's chance of winning the league, but a great performance at home to Grangetown left them needing three points away to league champions Seaton Carew to cause a play-off between themselves and Grangetown for the runners-up spot.
Unfortunately, Seaton upheld their unbeaten home streak going back two years, and Coulby ended the season fourth.
Table amended following Conduct Committee decisions to award postponed game between Hardwick Youth and Coulby Newham JFC as an Away Win to Coulby, and postponed game between Seaton Carew Lions and Trimdon United as a Home Win to Seaton.
11/03/14 - Hardwick Youth deducted 3 points for playing an inelgible player.
